American Weldquip Appoints Mid-South District Manager

Todd Harris has been named District Sales Manager for the Mid-South Region covering Kentucky, Southern Indiana, Southern Illinois and Missouri.  Todd has  worked the last 8 years gathering experience in the welding industry with Airgas Mid-America, Bowling Green, KY.  For the past 1 1/2 years he has held the position of Account Manager and successfully managed one of AWQ's largest end-users � BGM Magna.

American Weldquip Appoints Canadian District Manager

Ray Trudell has been named District Sales Manager for Ontario Canada.  Ray brings 25 years experience in the welding industry both in sales and engineering.  He was employed for the last 11 � years by Praxair � Canada as Territory Manager and was very successful with promoting competitive MIG welding guns. 

American Weldquip Names President

Howard Fisher has been named president of American Weldquip Inc..   Mr. Fisher will have the responsibility for overseeing the company's operations, engineering, sales, marketing and customer service.

Prior to joining the company Howard held various positions over a 15 year period with Tregaskiss US Ltd.  He has over 32 years of experience in the welding industry, and served in various sales, marketing, engineering, and product/project management capacities.

Rex Carper, founder of American Weldquip was the previous president of the company and remains its chief executive officer.
